This is part one of "Free love on the freelove freeway", obviously named after David Brent's musical masterpiece. These pictures are from my past couple of weeks in Gothenburg, Stockholm and Berlin. the great battle between genders.

Now, I don't want all you girls to misinterpret this post, but sometimes a man just has to show that he is...well, the man. Thus, I travelled to Stockholm, in order to find a suitable adversary in my quest to prove, once and for all, that men invented rock n' roll. I didn't have to search for very long. Actually, it just so happened that my nemesis came to me.

She was indeed a fine specimen within the much appreciated category of Homo Sapiens Femina, which intimidated me at first. However, I refused to let fear take over. Countless times, men have fallen victim to their looks, their intoxicating smell, and their snake-like charm. But this was my time. I was going to prevail. Thus, the fight started...

I quickly realized that this was no ordinary battle. This was a battle of minds, and sheer terror rose up within me when she displayed magnificent tactical skills. How could this be? Men have waged war for countless generations, yet it seemed as if she had been there watching the whole time. As if she had idly stood by, gently smirking while we slaughtered everyone around us, desperately trying to prove the value of our libido. And before I knew it, she kicked me in the nuts.

However, men have not become one of the most famous genders for nothing. I knew I could take her, I simply had to use my significantly larger brain and out-think her. Then it came to me. As clear as day, suddenly, I had a plan. In one quick motion, I got up on my feet and the fight was back on. And this time, I knew her weakness...

Unfortunately, that did not help. God damn it.

damon, why didn't you say anything?

Why did I only just now find out that Gorillaz are releasing a new album? Guests include Snoop Dogg, Mos Def, De La Soul & LOU REED. I have been an avid fan of Damon Albarn for as long as I can remember. Even though Pulp's best songs are clearly stronger(Disco 2000 > Girls & Boys), Blur had a much wider spectrum of songs. Damon Albarn is clearly a genious. Anyway, this is the first single released, entitled "Stylo", along with a brief tribute to Damon Albarn. Ace.

Britain's got talent.

I went to Berlin to watch tv.

I just got back from shooting in Berlin. We did one shoot in an abandoned bath house, and one with friends in their amazing apartment. I'm really happy with the results, but as always, I could have done better. I will next time. Thanks to Nora and Helena for letting me crash with you. This is me watching Lost season 1 with Sarabi and Curtis. Good times.

Happy Birthday Linus

Today is Linus' birthday! Linus is the other half of Charles The Bear, we bought him one lazy afternoon in London. I'd be pretty confident in saying that Charles is the best purchase I've ever made. We're considering letting Charles get married this year. We'll throw an actual bachelor party, and then have a real wedding. Sounds like good fun to me. Anyway, Linus is one of the greatest guys you'll ever meet, and he deserves a truly amazing almost 30th birthday. These are for you, buddy:
