More resizing.

Once again, I dedicated a stupid amount of time resizing the fashion series on my website. And once again, you better have a look. Please. Now, I'm going to cook and watch 2001: A Space Odyssey. Oh, and the link can be found below.

Another cut-out from London story

Here's another one that didn't make it into the actual story. I still like it, though. In about a week, I'll be in sunny California. I can't wait.

A third world mentality.

I just wanted to take this opportunity so say something to all you people out there that own lottery companies. Fuck you, okay? What you do, is one of the things I hate most in the entire world. You pray on semi-poor people's inability to believe that hard work actually leads somewhere.

I'm currently staying in Bed-Stuy, which is not exactly a posh area of Brooklyn(even though it's heading in that direction). Every time I go to the deli on the corner, someone walks in with a few lucky numbers, thinking "well, you can't win if you don't play". That's sentence is accurate, but only if you remove "if you don't play". I bet if you did a study on this, you'd find that the ratio of lottery ticket buyers is way higher in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens, in relation to Manhattan purchasers.

I always feel sorry for ticket purchasers, since they are clearly being duped, and are also a part of the generation that have worked hard for 50 years, and still haven't gotten ahead in life. And so, since hard work hasn't ever paid off, they have no option but to put their trust in luck. People who own lotteries know this very well. That's why they are absolutely terrible people, and should go to hell.

Another detail that makes the whole scenario even more fucked up, is that most states have made gambling illegal. In fact, the only states where you are allowed to gamble, are Nevada and New Jersey. Otherwise, you have to own a patch of native-american land, or own a riverboat to start a casino. You tell me, what's the difference between gambling and playing the lottery? I'll tell you what the difference is: The state owns the lottery, and therefore have a monopoly on all gambling that goes on within the state. Now, isn't that something a socialist, or even communist, country would do? It certainly doesn't feel very "USA-ALL THE WAY".

Max once told me that playing the lottery is simply a third world mentality. I mean, I've been lucky. Whenever I've worked, it's always lead somewhere. I've always felt that I gained something. Hence, I'm a still a firm believer in myself, and therefore feel no need to waste my money on something that is not very likely happen. In fact, there's probably a bigger chance of you being offered an immensely good blow-job from a virgin unicorn outside the deli, than you winning the lottery. Most of these people probably spend about 2-5 dollars a day on tickets. Multiply that by 365, and you know what will happen? Your kids will get better christmas presents.

So let me tell you this, for the first and very last time: You are not going to fucking win. Stop wasting your money. But then again, that's easy for me to say. My dreams are still pretty much intact.

Veni Vidi Vicious

Sometimes, people tend to forget how fucking awesome The Hives' first album, Veni Vidi Vicious is. Your loss.

This is how you know you've had a boring day.

Today var not a very eventful day, something that struck me as I was resizing every single picture on my website. If you've ever been on my website, you'll know it's a lot of work. Actually, that's not exactly how I came to think of how boring my day was. Here's what happened.

I was listening to Oasis' album "What's the story(morning glory)" on shuffle, and when the first song on the album(entitled "Hello") was actually played last, I thought to myself, "What a funny paradox, the song Hello was played last". It was not a funny paradox, my day was just that dull. This got me thinking, what other signs are there, that would indicate that you've had a boring day? In my opinion, you've probably had a boring day if:

-You are wearing a Hard Rock Cafe T-shirt. Why? Because you own a Hard Rock Cafe T-shirt and that means you probably suck at life.
-You hung out with a person who owns a Blackberry or iPhone.
-You are in Oslo, Norway.
-You watched Munich.
-You alphabetized your...alphabetized anything.
-You called your mom, not the other way around.
-You are old.
-You went to the Everglades.
-You had a dream that you were a member of the Rolling Stones, woke up, and then had to live the entire day as your shitty self.
-You are in a wheel-chair.
-You searched the word "funny" on Youtube and then just went from there.

My point is, I finished resizing the personal images. It took me all day, so you better check it out:

I want a patch of blue sky to follow me.

Here are some pictures from this week-end. Sunday might have been the most relaxed day this year. It was epic, seriously. The rest of the pictures are mostly from Anna's rooftop, which I must say, is quite nice. Anyways, I hope you'll like the images. Stay tuned, more coming up.

Pictures from Anna's Birthday

Last night was Anna's birthday, so I met up with her and Meredith, and hung out at some gallery/bar/empty art space where we could ride bikes around indoors. They're starting a clothing line, and I have already pitched my name suggestion: Operation Mannadith Warlock. I have been assured by both Anna and Meredith that my suggestion will be taken under careful consideration, but I'm trying really hard not to get my hopes up.

Teddybears

When reading this, it probably won't come as a big surprise to any readers of this blog: I would love to perform with Teddybears, the masks and outfits are fucking awesome. I don't think further explanation is required. Also, Robyn, as an artist, tramples all over that weird piece of flesh, Lykke Li. It's kind of strange to me that they collaborate, but at the same time, it makes total sense. Stockholm hipster scene looking after each other.

Pictures that didn't make it...

These are two pictures that didn't make it into the actual series, but I still like them. Because I'm not using them, I didn't bother with removing the people in the background. When you start doing this photography-thingy, nobody ever tells you how hard editing is. I've found it to be a huge part of the process. Also, It's really frustrating that I can't post the actual stories here, but it is what it is, I guess.

Also, it's fun to be reunited with my old loft buddies.

Nobody ever mentions the weather.

Something to cheer you up on this rainy New York day:

Semi-album of pictures from Berlin. Uncensored.

I still haven't posted pictures from when I spent New Years in Berlin with my buddies. This was because not all of them weren't developed yet. They still aren't but I think I lost the other films, and so I'll just post the few ones I have. This was probably one of the most fun New Year week-ends I've ever spent. New Years always suck otherwise, but this one was actually fun. Also, I'm warning you, there will be a picture of a person wearing a gimp wrestler mask. It's disturbing. To erase the gross-ness and change the whole scenario into heroin-chic, we placed a Mac next to him. Enjoy.

Don't say I didn't warn you.

"Sorry, I didn't catch that last bit?"
