Let's get crossed off everybodys list PART I

This is part one of my latest snapshot series, entitled "Let's get crossed off everybody's list". All the pictures were taken in Berlin, London, Gothenborg or Stockholm, during the past two or three weeks. I took time off work, and just hung out with my friends. As a result, I did not make any money and will be even more poor than usual. Ace. Not really, though.

Blue eyes + picture preview

At a pre-party this past week-end, me and Ghazal both tried on our friend's blue contacts. I think I look way cooler, but most people would probably disagree. Please disregard the fact that Ghazal is hot, and I just look creepy.

Also, here is a picture preview from the past couple of weeks, involving Berlin, London, Gothenburg and Stockholm. I developed a lot of film, so the next couple of posts will most likely only involve pictures. Anyway, here is the preview

kniven förfest

pic: Robbz

I usually don't post songs very often, but I'm pre-partying to this one right now. Last night was really fun, but I never made it to the Way Out West afterparty. There's another one tonight, hopefully I'll make it to this one. Until then:

keeping it real?

I was never an avid fan of the argument "It's not natural". Horrible. In what paralell universe are human beings even remotely connected to nature anymore? We can perform laser surgery on each other, dance to drum n bass, walk on things that are located in space, and somehow manage to drink Fernet(gross). That's why I can't help but get a bit upset when someone, for instance, says homosexuals shouldn't adopt, simply because it's not natural. If that argument was even remotely valid, we couldn't do anything anymore. Here are a few more instances where I feel human beings aren't exactly celebrating their life-long connection with good old mother earth:

-Some species enjoy fornication by nature. We've come to enjoy it so much that we invented the internet, just to sit by ourselves and watch other couples fornicate, and they don't even reproduce in the end. Pathetic. Slash awesome.
-We are fully aware of the fact that alcohol is very unhealthy and makes us throw up. Still, we drink it until we...throw up.
-We think karaoke is a good idea.
-Homo sapiens sometimes create sequels that have nothing to do with the first movie made.
-We fly Ryanair. God I hate that company.
-We urinate into something that's made of the same material as the things we put our food on, and then engourage each other to recycle.

All these things are very non-natural, and should therefore be abolished, right? I hope all you naysayers out there agree on that. I'm fully aware of the fact that I'm being a bit ridiculous, but I just know that if I was denied the opportunity to skip brushing my teeth because I'm lazy, watch tv in the bathroom, and read Narnia in a language I learned while studying photography in Paris, just because some idiot read Darwin backwards, I would be pissed. In conclusion: I think adoption, hetero or homo, is awesome and if you ever want to win an argument with me, simply by stating that something isn't "natural", I would like proof that you are also anti everything that human beings say, do, think and want. The 21st century is pretty cool, come join us.

Pictures from the past couple of weeks coming up soon.

Party on Wednesday, Patrick.

This post is aimed at one person only, and that means you, Patrick Petitjean. Me and Sedir would cordially like to invite you to join us at Kåren on Wednesday evening in Stockholm. For obvious reasons, I can't post Sedir's home address here, but you can find my email if you go on my website, or contact Sedir via www.sedir.se.

Looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday. We figured we'd start around 8 or 9 pm, but we will obviously adjust our plans after whatever suits you.

Update: If you can't make it to our pre-party, the place we're going to is called Kåken, not Kåren. See you there.

read please.

I seriously do not think I have ever been this tired in my life. Apparently, my dad came into my room to wake me up earlier and I started rambling about clamps for the fabric on my bed. Also, everyone who called me today, just got a "Sorry, I don't know what you're talking about, please call again at a later point". It's in this specific instance, that it would be great to have a pal with an amazingly soothing voice, so that he/she could read bedtime stories to me. If I could pick any five people to read me a bedtime story, I would pick:

-Sir David Attenborough
-Morgan Freeman
-Chet Baker
-Astrid Lindgren
-David Bowie(Mostly because I just want him to be my pal)

back from the festival

The festival was crazy and I am exhausted. Tomorrow, I'll be home in Gothenburg.
